Accelerating innovation: Meet IU Inc.
IU Inc. is a newly launched nonprofit designed to strengthen the university’s partnerships with industry and government. It leverages faculty expertise to solve real-time problems, spur economic growth, and provide hands-on learning for students. The organization has three core subsidiaries: the IU Applied Research Center (ARC), supporting national security through applied R&D and talent development; the IU Launch Accelerator for Biosciences (IU LAB), the university’s life science innovation initiative; and IU Realty, which activates non-academic real estate to generate revenue and anticipate real estate needs that support IU’s mission and vision.
