Bringing history to life

Empowering Indiana educators

Indiana University is helping teachers across the state bring history out of textbooks and into their classrooms. Through an immersive professional development workshop, Indiana educators explored historic treasures preserved at IU and worked with experts from the Center on Representative Government, Lilly Library, and Eskenazi Museum of Art. Teachers transformed those experiences into new lesson materials, giving students across Indiana meaningful ways to engage with history and understand its relevance today.

As Indiana’s microelectronics industry grows, Indiana University is preparing students with the skills and experience to help power its future. At the Indiana University Center for Reliable and Trusted Microelectronics (IU CREATE), students work alongside researchers using industry-leading technology to design, test, and improve the computer chips behind everything from cell phones to spacecraft. Through hands-on research, internships, and partnerships with industry, IU is preparing graduates for high-demand careers while helping Indiana companies access the talent they need to compete.
