Bring on tomorrow

Where Science Creates Hope

At Indiana University, we're delivering life science breakthroughs at life-saving speed. We're expanding our understanding of the brain, driving innovation in orthopedics, delivering new treatments and cures for cancer and obesity, and solving tomorrow’s problems today.

We’re engineering organoids that other labs can request and use, ready to go for experiments. By generating fully functional organoids for the research community, IU’s work will speed the scientific process and get us all closer to new solutions to Alzheimer's disease.

Fighting Alzheimer's with precision science

One in ten Hoosiers over the age of 65 are impacted by Alzheimer's disease or other dementias. Indiana University researchers are leading efforts to end Alzheimer's through advanced cellular models called organoids that mimic the structure of the human brain. With just a blood sample, we're transforming our understanding of the brain and speeding up the process of discovery.
