Located on a beautiful campus just outside Chicago, IU Northwest offers more than 95 academic programs, all with top-notch faculty and abundant support services to help you succeed. This campus is home to northwest Indiana’s top business school and only medical school, and a wide variety of real-world internships and other hands-on learning and research experiences are available to undergraduate and graduate students alike.

How to apply to IU Northwest
If you are a high school student, you can apply to IU Northwest using either the Apply IU application or the Common App.
If you are a transfer or adult student, you must apply to IU Northwest using the Apply IU application.
IU Northwest accepts applications on a rolling basis. Students are encouraged to apply by the priority admission deadline for the term you want to start.
Applications are reviewed daily, so once the IU Northwest Office of Admissions receives all your required information, you’ll hear from them directly with a written decision. In addition, we will send the decision to the email address on file.
Deadlines to watch
To be considered for priority admission*, apply by:
- Fall semester: December 1
- Spring semester: October 1
- Summer Session I: May 1
- Summer Session II: June 15
*Priority admission deadlines are the dates to submit your application for the best chance of admission, as well as scholarships and financial aid. If you miss these deadlines, your admission to IU Northwest may be delayed until the following semester.
