Located in historic Richmond, IU East is the leading public institution for four-year undergraduate and master’s degree programs in eastern Indiana and Western Ohio. This campus offers more than 60 academic programs and a flexible mix of on-campus and online classes, so students are able to design their education around their lives and earn an Indiana University degree at an affordable cost.
All students at IU East live off campus, but Red Wolves athletics and more than 30 student organizations are active on campus throughout the year, and the welcoming atmosphere and supportive faculty help students of all kinds to feel at home.

How to apply to IU East
High school students, transfer students, and students applying for online degree completion programs should all apply to IU East with the Apply IU application.
If you’d rather apply by mail, you can request a paper application by calling 765-973-8208 or emailing applynow@iue.edu.
The final application deadline is August 17 (or August 19 for mail-in applications).
Applications are reviewed daily, so once the IU East Office of Admissions receives all your required information, you’ll hear from them directly with a written decision.
